Herzst\u00fcck der dritten Iterationsstufe ist die neue Shimano Q\u2019Auto-Schaltung, die automatisch den passenden Gang w\u00e4hlt \u2013 und das komplett ohne separaten Akku, da die Energie w\u00e4hrend der Fahrt erzeugt wird. Erg\u00e4nzt wird die Ausstattung durch eine Carbon-Gabel, integrierte Beleuchtung und einen stabilen Gep\u00e4cktr\u00e4ger. Mit einem Gewicht von 14,3 kg in der getesteten Gr\u00f6\u00dfe L ist es zwar kein Federgewicht, geh\u00f6rt aber zu den leichteren Alltagsr\u00e4dern mit Dynamo. Damit werden sowohl das drahtlose Di2-Schaltwerk als auch die Schaltautomatik betrieben \u2013 ganz ohne Akkuwechsel oder externe Stromquelle. Q\u2019Auto lernt somit durch wiederholte manuelle Korrekturen und passt das automatische Schaltverhalten bereits nach rund sechs Kilometern an den Fahrstil an. Im Test kam es daher durchaus vor, dass aufeinanderfolgende Tester zun\u00e4chst Schwierigkeiten hatten \u2013 etwa wenn der Vorg\u00e4nger mit deutlich mehr Wumms in den Beinen unterwegs war. In solchen F\u00e4llen half nur: dr\u00fcberstehen, manuell eingreifen und abwarten, bis das System das individuelle Schaltmuster \u00fcbernommen hatte.
