Fidlock\u00ae-Riemenverschlusssystem und dem Mips-C2\u00ae-Gehirnschutzsystem ausgestattet, das sich bei einem Aufprall relativ zum Kopf verschiebt und sch\u00e4dliche Rotationsbewegungen umleitet. Der Intercity Mips ist ist NTA 8776 zertifiziert &#8211; die weltweit erste Sicherheitszertifizierung f\u00fcr E-Bike-Helme. NTA steht f\u00fcr Nederlandse Technische Afspraak. Die NTA 8776 wurde unter der Leitung des NEN \u2013 Normeninstitut f\u00fcr die Niederlande \u2013 entwickelt. Mitglieder der sogenannten \u201eHelmets for S-EPAC cyclists\u201c Projektgruppe sind unter anderem Abus, Bell oder die Accell Group. Die NTA-Zertifizierung soll best\u00e4tigen, dass der MET Intercity im Vergleich zu einem Standardhelm deutlich mehr Aufprallenergie ableitet.Eine NTA-EPS-Schale soll zudem eine um 10% h\u00f6here
