Ziel des Investments soll sein, das USA- und E-Bike-Gesch\u00e4ft von Canyon weiter auszubauen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bereits 2020 berichteten wir \u00fcber die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtb-news.de\/news\/canyon-investor-2021\/\">\u00dcbernahme von Canyon durch den neuen Mehrheits-Gesellschafter Groupe Bruxelles Lambert<\/a>. Nun gibt das Unternehmen aus Koblenz bekannt, weitere Investoren gefunden zu haben. So ist mit LRMR Ventures das Investment-Unternehmen der Sport-Ikone LeBron James und des Investors Maverick Carter eingestiegen \u2013 ebenso die US-amerikanische Private-Equitiy-Firma SC Holdings, die sich Canyon zufolge auf ikonische Markenunternehmen konzentriert.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Wir waren zwar nicht aktiv auf der Suche nach neuen Investoren, aber LRMR und das SC-Team haben unsere Mission, das inspirierendste und innovativste Fahrradunternehmen der Welt zu gestalten, sofort verstanden. Ihre Leidenschaft f\u00fcr das, was wir aufbauen, wird sie zu wichtigen Mitgliedern unseres Teams machen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"cite\"><cite>Roman Arnold, Canyon-Gr\u00fcnder<\/cite><\/p>\n<p>Ziel der Investition ist es den Koblenzern zufolge, das Engagement von Canyon im US-amerikanischen Markt auszubauen, die E-Bike-Sparte zu st\u00e4rken, die globale Markenbekanntheit zu erh\u00f6hen und zu einem besseren Online-Shopping-Erlebnis beizutragen. Ein Fokus liegt offensichtlich auch darauf, den Sportartikel-Hersteller Canyon st\u00e4rker im urbanen Segment sowie dem Nutzen des Fahrrads als Transportger\u00e4t zu verankern.
